What is it like to feel without seeing?
I once slept late in the morning at a house located nearby a funeral home. It was around ten o' clock in the morning, I was half asleep, my eyes probably were open a bit so I could see that the room was lit with lots of sunlight through the window, table, chairs, etc... Then suddenly out of the blue, I could feel that there was a strange force, something that I could not see but I could tell that it was a serious one. There was no mistake in this regard, I felt a threat, and I felt challenged. I then said in my thought, "In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, don't you dare challenging me?" At that point, I started to feel calm and peaceful. The being went away. Therefore, if we ever meet a "devil," then one would know right away, and there is no need for it to come with fangs, or horns, as Hollywood depicted.
At the same token, if God ever comes to us, then we would just know. God communicates to us via many media, and we just have to be in tune to feel His being. It could be a tingling sensation that is unmistakably different, or it could be revelation of some sort, or a thought out of the blue, etc.... Just imagine that here we are running around under stress, we have millions of things to think of, and we are being bombarded by so many impulses, yet out of the blue, a message comes to our mind specifically, hence we should pay attention to these unexpected thoughts because they could be coming from God, a Divine intervention perhaps. Beware, God often comes to us unexpectedly, like a thief in the night as Jesus once said, so we just have to be in tune to receive Him. It is fun to have God in our lives and to communicate with Him as often as we could. With time, we would fall in love with God, and we could not live without Him.
I don't need to see God to believe, but I would rather feel His presence. It is always a pleasant to feel the contact, and He truly knows how to entertain us at various moments. The relationship with God is an unexpected journey, and we never know of how it would unfold each day. I talk to God and celebrate Him whenever I could. I make a point to think about God each day, I like to offer Him gifts which are formed from sacrifice, from tears of sorrow, of hardship, of joy, of being grateful, of anger, etc.... I think of my gifts as flowers made from water, and they sparkle like diamonds in the sun, yet they could rain in purgatory, in desert places, or in vast empty space of the universe to give relief to unfortunate souls.
As I get older, I realize that I could see faces or pictures in the clouds, or at various places. I would not say that they are all about God. They are just there to entertain me, but I do see faces and pictures of various kinds, and they seem to make my life richer. I once was at San Luis Rey Mission near sunset time, I was taking pictures of the sunset, then I decided to snap some pictures of the vast clouds in the sky on top of my head without looking into the viewfinder. To my surprise, I found the following image in my I-phone. Try to till your head to the left and to the right, what do you think?
